Über die Veranstaltung
On this day, VJSH, ZJD and Hillel Frankfurt invite you to spend together this year's Yom HaZikaron - the day of rememberance for Israel's fallen soldiers and victims of terror.
This year, we join the initiative "A recipe with a memory" and commemorate fallen soldiers and victims of terror by cooking their favorite recipes and telling their life stories (see for example here).
At 18:00, we gather for a cooking session and listen to a guest who will share stories of fallen friends and commemorate them together.
If you would like to commemorate someone through a story or would like to share a memory of someone, you are also invited to do so. But of course, this is completely optional.
At 20:00, as we eat together, Yom haZikaron will then transition into Yom HaAzmaut - the Independence Day of Israel - with a celebration, food and drinks!
